Dr. Rob was raised locally in Utica, OH. Growing up he enjoyed working with his grandfather on the dairy farm and raising various types of livestock from llamas, to rabbits, to beef cattle. He was also quite competitive in cross country and track &
field. After high school he attended Wilmington College and graduated in 2001. He then went on to The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine where he finished in 2005. Dr. Rob started practice in a mixed animal practice in
Loudonville, OH for nearly 2 years before coming to purchase Mount Vernon Animal Hospital and moving back home to Knox/Licking County. Dr. Rob’s professional areas of interest include equine and bovine reproduction and embryo transfer, large animal field surgery, small animal orthopedic and soft tissue surgery, nutrition as well as comprehensive herd health care. Dr. Rob also serves as the Managing Veterinarian and Business Manager at Mount Vernon Animal Hospital.
In his spare time Dr. Rob enjoys spending time with his family and friends, managing a small herd of beef cattle and working on his antique tractor and 1950 Buick.
